Berghaus' New "Technical Lifestyle" Capsule Prioritizes Urban Utility
With seven outerwear pieces constructed from weather-resistant textiles.
Under its “Technical Lifestyle” imprint, English outerwear label Berghaus has dropped off a limited capsule collection of performance-based silhouettes. Examining “the space between city and nature,” the seven-piece line centers around the concept of “urban utility,” with a bite-size offering of minimal, metropolitan coats and sweaters.
Inside the collection, crewneck pullovers replace cotton with lightweight, waterproof GORE-TEX INFINIUM and opt for a drawcord hem with zipped side vents for adaptability. Meanwhile, the Jesmond smock appears puffed-up and quilted, with durable, water-repellent Pertex® 3D Weave fabric and specialist Hydroloft® insulation for optimal protection from harsher weather conditions.
A collection highlight, the 3L Hydroshell® Gosforth jacket offers lightweight and breathable waterproofing, featuring a mask that pairs with a built-in cap and an adjustable hood for versatile functionality. Available in either “Jet Black” or “Sand Dune,” the silhouette includes two extra-roomy chest pockets, as well as articulated paneling on its sleeves for an ergonomic fit.
The collection is now available to shop on Berghaus’ website and through select retailers, with prices ranging from £130 GBP to £300 GBP. Explore the line in the campaign, shot by online platform and magazine publisher eye_C, above.
