JULIUS Goes Outlandish With Its FW23 "elytra;" Collection
A dramatic expression from the Japanese label.
After uncovering dangerous beauty with its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, JULIUS has returned to unveil its seasonal range for Fall/Winter 2023. Titled “elytra;,” the collection focuses on an outlandish outlook that leans on a dramatic focus that ties that offering together.
The stylized lookbook for the FW23 collection features evocative close-ups, motion blur, and face paint that builds on the striking color theme of the range. Aside from the asymmetric outerwear JULIUS is known for, oversized jackets serve to introduce draping and designs centered around bounding. The sleek black and pristine white featured throughout is contrasted by bold reds and shimmering crinkled silver that develops a focus on sheen. The subtle technical elements are continued with functionality brought by the footwear that builds on classic boot shapes.
