N.HOOLYWOOD and Champion Reconnect for "NEW WEAVE" Basics
Featuring reimagined heavy cotton sweats.
Following last year’s debut “NEW WEAVE” capsule, Daisuke Obana‘s N.HOOLYWOOD connects with Champion once again to release a new series of reimagined Reverse Weave essentials.
Using Champion’s patented Reverse Weave methods, a horizontal knitting technique invented in 1938 that cuts heavy cotton on the cross-grain to improve durability and prevent shrinkage, N. HOOLYWOOD pieces together classic Champion basics in its own unique way. Differences are subtle, but upon closer inspection, hoodies and sweaters are found in a contemporary relaxed fit featuring dropped shoulders, hidden front pockets, mismatched Champion logos on the collars and sleeves, and unique stitching lines that stretch across the back and around the arms. Thick drawstring sweatpants are found in a similar build with double Champion logo accents, bottom cuffs, and unique lines. The pieces are found in three colorways including dark grey, sail, and black.
The N.HOOLYWOOD x Champion “NEW WEAVE” collection will be available at N.HOOLYWOOD’s website and retailers on February 24.
