Copenhagen-based brand Tekla continues its commitment to elevated fabrications with its second limited-edition cashmere and lambswool blanket collection. To bring the new offering to life, the brand looks to the colors of Le Corbusier.

Comprising the collection is a series of seven blankets divided into two sections. The first section includes checked pattern blankets in tonal shades of off-white, dusty pink, sky blue and pale green crafted from a cashmere and lambswool blend with outer edge whipstitching. The second set includes bold striped blanket in hues of cobalt blue, gray, sunflower yellow, maroon and soft green crafted from lambswool with a fringed edge.

“There’s a common belief that Le Corbusier was a minimalist, but when researching, we found archive photos that revealed his personal living spaces were filled with different textures, colors and objects,” said  Charlie Hedin, founder and creative director at Tekla.

Specifically, the brand looks to the artworks, bold walls, textiles and more of the Swiss-French architect’s home as its design inspiration. Take a look at the new limited-edition collection in the gallery above.

Ranging in price from $745 USD to $995 USD, the collection is available now online.
