OAMC Rejoins adidas for Sturdy "TYPE O-3" Boot
A premium high-top designed with winter functionality in mind.
Though they weren’t seen in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2019 campaign, OAMC and adidas have a follow-up to their recent seasonal collaboration in the works already. A tall sneaker/boot hybrid, dubbed the “TYPE O-3” is en route, boasting top-shelf construction and trail-ready detailing in spades.
Anchored by adidas’ EVA-infused GSG9 outdoor trail outsole — recently utilized for UNDEFEATED’s collaborative silhouette — and Adiprene cushioning, the “TYPE O-3” is as comfortable as it is reliable, with the grippy rubber outsole abetted by a plush grain leather upper above, executed in tonal “Core Black” or Off-White, with a third grey colorway currently unavailable to view online. The tall shaft tapers gently towards the opening, with adjustable laces that allow for an effortless fit that cradles the wearer’s foot. Below, a reinforced mudguard surrounds the lower portion of the upper, complete with embossed OAMC branding and “TYPE O-3” verbiage.
Expect the collaborative boot to arrive on adidas Japanese’ web store and OAMC’s website on November 7 for ¥49,500 JPY (approximately $455 USD), with a Western release likely to follow imminently.
