UNDEFEATED Drops Technical adidas GSG9 Sneakerboot Collab

Following UNDEFEATED’s Holiday 2019 offering, the vaunted sneaker boutique has joined forces with frequent collaborator adidas for a special edition seasonal shoe. The GSG9 is a unique sneakerboot that takes cues from adidas’ military footwear styles and trek-ready detailing for a shoe tailor-made to fight inclement weather.
This isn’t the first time that UNDEFEATED tapped adidas for a function-driven collaboration, but the GSG9 does represent an interesting step forward for the partners, as UNDEFEATED was given free reign to customize the silhouette to its own desires. Atop adidas’ military combat training sole, UNDEFEATED has delivered a tactical design ideal for fighting winter slush — a water-repelling upper zips over a breathable inner bootie, strapped to the wearer’s foot by branded elastic lacing. The muted black colorway is accented by tonal UNDEFEATED branding for a street-friendly look, but it’s granted true functionality by the durable and grippy outsole.
