UNDEFEATED Rejoins adidas for Technical SS19 Running Capsule Collection
Weather resistant outerwear, trail-ready sneakers and overdyed layers.
After introducing a bold UltraBOOST, adidas and UNDEFEATED reunite for a full capsule of seasonal running gear. Inspired by classic trail-running staples, the collection encompasses a brief array of function-focused layering pieces, accessories and footwear.
Crucial layering pieces add seasonal flair to to the collaborative capsule, including an ultra-light orange packable jacket and a black GORE-TEX parka, both offering covered zipper plackets, sealable pockets and pull-tabs at the hem for an adjustable fit. Matching shorts underline the weather-fighting, high-visibility motif. Elsewhere, an over-dyed shirt and short set serve as a sophisticated counterpoint to the tie-dye trend, boasting garment-dyed grey panels and bold orange seams. Rounding out the capsule are co-branded socks, bright towels and a sturdy duffel bag that can easily store the entire range.
The footwear selection takes on three utilitarian silhouettes — the adiZERO RC, GSG9 and Climacool — all offered in shades of green, black and orange. UNDEFEATED branding appears on the lateral side of the black adiZERO sneaker while the brand’s tick-mark logo is printed on the medial side, all atop a bright orange midsole. For more technical styling, the GSG9 boasts zippered closure against an orange water resistant placket, with tear resistant ripstop and a neoprene inner bootie for extra seasonal comfort. Finally, the Climacool silhouette’s mesh upper ensures heightened breathability while the Bounce outsole guarantees all-day comfort. Abetted by UNDEFEATED branding, the bright orange laces are easy to adjust for a customizable fit.
