sacai x Nike LDWaffle and Blazer Mid Official Release Dates and Store List
The hotly-anticipated collaboration is finally set to hit stores.
Finally, after months of speculation and tantalizing closer looks, Nike and sacai‘s collaborative footwear is set to receive an official release. Both the LDV Waffle Daybreak — officially dubbed the LDWaffle Daybreak by Nike — and the Blazer Mid will drop this month.
After the shoes’ release date was unexpectedly delayed, sacai’s bespoke Nike footwear became one of the most sought-after silhouettes in recent memory. The lucky few who snapped up the sneakers from sacai’s Paris pop-up and surprise website launch now seek four-figure values on the secondhand market, leaving few options for those trying to get their hands on the covetable, doubled-up silhouettes. Though it’s unlikely that the official release will be much less limited, it’s a welcome option for everyone who missed out the first time around.
In Nike’s official collaged imagery, a variety of colorways can be seen, including some surprising additions. On one hand, the Blazer Mid is seen in two previously-seen colorways, “Snow Beach” and “Black Legend.” Meanwhile, the LDWaffle Daybreak appears in familiar multi-toned blue and green variations, along with three makeups that haven’t yet released: two monochrome iterations that appeared on the Fall/Winter 2019 runway and a green/pink variation accented by yellow and orange Swooshes. No word on which colorways are arriving at specific stores but stay tuned for raffles related to each upcoming makeup.
