sacai is set to bring its unique sense of deconstruction worldwide via a series of international pop-up shops, accompanied by exclusive collaborative goods. Rejoining longtime pal Sarah Andelman, designer Chitose Abe is teaming with everyone from Beats by Dre to googly-eyed Peloqoon plushes, with a full range of furniture, lingerie, kid’s clothes and accessories appearing at the initial “Hello sacai” event — hosted in Paris, the pop-up is appropriately renamed “Bonjour sacai.”

Key drops include the “FRAGILE / FRAGMENT” items designed with Hiroshi Fujiwara, ranging from monochrome layering pieces to printed teddy bears and retaW goods. Collaborations with A.P.C. and Nike provide more mash-up wearables, blending sweaters and jeans with bomber jackets and ponchos. sacai also serves up bespoke Beats earbuds, Astier de Villatte cups, Hervé Chapelier bags, CASETiFY iPhone cases and “Zantan” accessories — Zantan is sacai’s sub-label dedicated to repurposing textiles from past collections into new pieces.

Perhaps the most headline-worthy of all the drops is the Nike “LVD With Waffle Daybreak” sneaker, one of two sacai’s two Nikelab collaborations. Though its global release is reportedly set for March, the shoe will pre-launch at the “Bonjour sacai” pop-up.

Select items from the special collection will launch online via sacai’s special web store February 12, the same day that the Paris pop-up opens its doors. The pop-up will stay open until March 9.

In the meantime, refresh your memory of sacai’s recent Fall/Winter 2019 runway show.
