Designer Chitose Abe debuted sacai‘s Fall/Winter 2019 collection early Saturday morning during Paris Fashion Week.
For the upcoming season, Abe played with an abundance of textures and volume, creating a range of nonconventional silhouettes for the fashion lover. Incorporating both men’s and women’s looks, each model was dressed head-to-toe in deconstructed and re-constructed pieces. Her love for sportswear, classic clothing, and militaria was clear throughout the show, seeing patchwork sweaters, fringed ponchos and an orange wool trench taking the spotlight.
Mixed in with the aforementioned looks were flannel trousers, performance leggings and eye catching accessories. sacai’s collaborative Nike silhouettes, the LDV Waffle Daybreak and Blazer High, also came down the runway in never-before-seen black and white and neutral grey colorways, seeing an added touch of fur on the Daybreak.
