BAPE Releases Limited Edition Chinese Tea Pot Set
Just in time for Chinese New Year.
With Chinese New Year just around the corner, streetwear magnate BAPE is launching a special, limited edition Chinese Tea Pot set.
Infusing traditional Chinese tea culture with BAPE’s design codes, the set includes four tea cups and a tea pot all featuring the label’s iconic APE Head insignia and the Chinese saying, “猿人不打猿人” (Ape Shall Never Kill Ape), embossed into each piece. Each set was carefully crafted from Zisha purple clay in Yixing. Housing the delicate set is a silver-clasped box decorated in BAPE’s ubiquitous ABC CAMO pattern.
Interested fans can head over to BAPE Hong Kong locations this Saturday, January 26 to purchase the limited edition Chinese Tea Pot set for $1,999 HKD (approximately $255 USD). The set will also be gifted to those who spend over $12,000 HKD (approximately $1,530 USD) at BAPE Hong Kong locations.
