Skrillex's 'Kingdom Hearts III' Opening Theme Track Arrives
In collaboration with Utada Hikaru.

Though the opening theme song for Kingdom Hearts III leaked late last year, Utada Hikaru has now officially shared the Skrillex collaborative track, “Face My Fears.”
Released as a four-track EP, “Face My Fears” can be heard in either English or Japanese. The EP also features another Utada song, “Don’t Think Twice,” which will also be part of the upcoming video game. Grammy Award winning Skrillex was originally set to only remix Utada’s “Don’t Think Twice,” however this lead the two artist into creating something entirely original. This marks the first collaborative effort between Skrillex and the Kingdom Hearts franchise; Utada, on the other-hand, has been with the series since the beginning. Stream the EP and check out a synopsis on the game below:
“Kingdom Hearts III tells the story of the power of friendship and light vs. darkness as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure. Set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds, Kingdom Hearts follows the journey of Sora, an unknowing heir to a spectacular power. Sora is joined by Donald Duck and Goofy to stop an evil force known as the Heartless from invading and overtaking the universe. Sora, Donald, and Goofy unite with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to overcome tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.”
