Featured on our Five Best Collections From Prague Fashion Week SS19 list, the design duo of Schepers Bosman — made up of Sanne Schepers (a graduate of l’Institut Français de la Mode) and Anne Bosman (a Central Saint Martins alumni) — return for a vibrant, pattern-heavy Fall/Winter 2019 offering.
Having only been around since January of 2017, their latest seasonal offering is inspired by Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers. Cuypers’ work, such as the Rijksmuseum and the Amsterdam Central Station, can be seen featured throughout the collection by its use of color, material and template prints. To emphasis Cuypers’ creations, Schepers Bosman added decorative embellishments to the piece’s seams and finishings to complement the handmade patchworks and vinyl prints.
Stand out items of the collection include voluminous overcoats, silk finished trousers, oversized shirts, detailed sweaters, overalls and handstitched scarves, which have been crafted from silk, crepe wool, mohair, Japanese nylon, corduroy and heavy tricots. Take a look at the photoset above shot in the Royal Waiting Room at the Central Station of Amsterdam.
Schepers Bosman‘s Fall/Winter 2019 collection has been released in Paris since Friday, January 18. The duo have already seen multiple accolades including winning the design competition at Les Etoiles Mercedes-Benz. Make sure to keep an eye on this up-and-coming label.
