Sophisticated outdoors styling from the Japanese stalwart.

Adventurous outdoorsy label Snow Peak continues delivering covetable clothing collections with an expansive Fall/Winter 2019 offering. The new goods evoke both the label’s Japanese heritage and archival designs — Snow Peak as a company is over sixty years old — with comfortable, contemporary cuts to keep the looks accessible.

Traditional nods range from layered, collarless yukata-style coats to sashiko-like stitching inspired by highly-absorbant Japanese firefighter garments. Long shirts and tees undercut conventional proportions, while deep pile fleece, down coats and insulated shirting uphold wintertime comfort. Playful florals and geometric prints bolster the collection’s muted hues, with army green barn jackets, double-knee trousers and overalls partnering easily with graphic liner jackets and parkas.

Expect the new range to hit Snow Peak’s website and stockists later this year.
