Lilbootycall Gets Animated for “Mariah” Video
The video was directed by Aaron Hymes.
Building off the momentum, Lilbootycall drops the impressive animated video for his FEVER-produced hit single “Mariah.” The San Antonio, Texas native can be seen in the Aaron Hymes-directed visual, driving around in a foreign car through the air in different animation styles throughout the music video.
“I wrote the treatment. It basically incorporates shit that I like,” LBC said to HYPEBEAST. “It’s a light visual representation of some of the stuff you go through on the way to becoming successful. Snakes, media, wild girls, it portrays a lot of how I feel and a lot of my emotions. I wanted it to look like a cartoon with a Japanese manga vibe. You see things I’m into like Sushi and the orange Lambo I been wanting and then me taking an elevator to the top trying to get away from the snakes.”
“Mariah” follows up his previous singles such as “Sailor Moon” and “777” featuring Cuco & KWE$T that have gone on to collect millions of plays and YouTube views. Watch the video above.
