Arc'Teryx Drops Waterproof ACRUX TR GTX BOOT
Built for long multi-day treks.

Following its Norvan VT 2 Trail Runners unveiled back in August, Arc’Teryx has returned with trail-friendly waterproof boots — ACRUX TR GTX BOOT. The footwear piece is fully GORE-TEX protected and exceptionally hard-wearing during lengthy treks.
Doused in a sleek black colorway, the boots are made up of a series of mesh, nylon and rubber overlays that have been put together to maximize mobility while maintaining its rugged build. The top of the tongue is stamped with “Arc’Teryx” branding, followed by a smooth flexible textile that covers the forefoot and ends at the toe cap. There’s a slight dip at the back of the padded collars, complementing the thin GORE-TEX overlays that scoops down and runs along the mudguards. The rest of the sidewalls come in abrasion-resistant SuperFabric®, a material that uses a unique micro-plated technology — the result is highly durable, flexible and lightweight. These uppers sit atop a Vibram® Megagrip outsole and a geometrically optimized lug for extra traction over challenging terrains. Other details like the silver-toned Arc’Teryx logo and striped laces round up the design of the boots.
The Arc’Teryx ACRUX TR GTX BOOT is currently available at arcteryx.com for $240 USD.
Elsewhere, Dr. Martens and HAVEN have joined forces on premium 1460 Jungle Boots.
