Stormzy's #Merky Books Announces Creative Pop-Up Experience in London
In partnership with Beats by Dr. Dre.

Stormzy‘s publishing imprint #Merky Books has teamed up with Beats by Dr. Dre for a three-day celebration of culture and arts at the all-new Beats residency in Shoreditch, London.
Showcasing creativity through music, art, culture, spoken word, songwriters, filmmakers, directors, and curators, the #Merky Books pop-up will combine the community of the art world with London. The curated space will hold workshops for people to get involved in, such as a songwriting masterclass with London MC Wretch 32 alongside the writer Darren Chetty.
More workshops and panel talks with illustrators, songwriters, screenwriters, directors, playwrights, editors and podcasters will also be hosted at the pop-up. The line-up includes Dapo Adeola, Nate Agbeth, André Anderson, Bolu Babalola, DJ Creole Cuts, Innua Ellams, DJ K2RAH, Chelsea Kwakye, Mark Maciver, Derek Owusu, DJ Pablo, Yomi Sode, and many more to be announced.
#Merky Books prides itself on introducing a generation of new voices into the art world while publishing the best new fiction, non-fiction and poetry. As a result, the pop-up will also be selling books written by authors of color, self-produced zines and illustrative prints by up and coming artists, as well as #Merky Books merchandise.
Throughout the activation, visitors will be able to listen to audiobooks at the Beats listening station, and on each day they can experience DJ sets from Pablo, K2RAH and Creole Cuts.
