ARC’TERYX is targeting the downtime between backcountry days with the Postour Boot, a two-part recovery boot built for après touring. An insulated, waterproof overboot handles snow and ice outdoors, while a separate slipper slides out from inside so wearers can head straight indoors without swapping footwear.

The overboot is the weatherproof half of the system. ARC’TERYX wraps it in GORE-TEX Invisible Fit, running the waterproof layer all the way up to the top of the collar for extra protection and warmth. That high collar closes with a drawcord that tightens much like a climbing chalk bag, sealing the opening against deep snow and slush. Endure 360 extended rubber coverage circles the entire boot, reinforcing it against scuffs and impacts.

Grip comes from a Vibram Arctic Grip outsole engineered for secure footing on icy ground, paired with a lug pattern shaped to bite into snow and other soft terrain. Underfoot cushioning adds a layer of comfort for feet that have spent the day locked into stiff ski boots.
Warmth runs through both layers. Coreloft synthetic insulation lines the overboot and the slipper, so the pair stays warm whether it’s worn as a full boot outside or reduced to the inner piece indoors. The slipper itself is fully functional on its own, offering support when nested inside the boot and switching to a TPU grip outsole made for indoor surfaces once it’s pulled out.

The men’s Postour comes in two colorways, Black/Black and Tatsu/Black, both built with a textile upper, synthetic insole and rubber outsole, and listed for alpine, touring, freeride and resort use. ARC’TERYX notes the boot is PFAS compliant and requires surface cleaning only. Sizing runs in whole sizes, and the brand recommends sizing up for anyone between sizes or after a roomier fit.
