NEEDLES & Noma t.d. Deliver Colorful Ties & Silk Scarves for FW19
The latest visuals from the Nepenthes family.
Following its FW19 “Neo-Tora” editorial shown last month, Japanese label NEEDLES is back with its latest set of visuals, highlighting a set of colorful ties and scarves made in collaboration with Noma t.d.
The assemblage sees an expansive series of bold patterns, spanning explosive tie-dyes, multi-colored leopard prints, earth-toned paisleys and monochromatic stripes. As seen in the images above, the selection showcases each piece’s versatility, styling them in a number of ways that add depth to the outfits. One noteworthy piece is the rainbow-hued bandana scarf. Intricate paisley prints, alongside other traditional motifs, gloss over a delicate silk fabric that’s both warm and breathable — the earth-toned scarf is its more muted counterpart.
Another highlight is the psychedelic tie. The piece comes in a number of two-toned variations, like pink and purple, blue and red or light blue and burgundy, offering a nice contrast to collegiate-style silhouettes. Other pieces like the striped silk scarves, red neckerchiefs and floral scarves round up the vibrant assemblage.
