FKJ is prepping for the release of his forthcoming Ylang Ylang EP with the Bas-assisted single, “Risk.” Clocking in at just under four minutes, both the collaborative track as well as the EP were products of an “emotionally complex time” for the French multi-instrumentalist, eventually transforming the period into a moving expression portrayal of catharsis. “Risk” fuses FKJ’s blissful production with the Dreamville star’s rousing wordplay — adding another credential to Bas’ impressive year and showcasing FKJ’s multi-skillset as a creative and artist.

“Immensely proud of this one. Love collaborating with artists that push the bounds and challenge me creatively,” Bas wrote on Instagram. “I consider [FKJ] amongst the greatest musicians of our generation so to write and be featured on his new single is a moment for me. Vibes on vibes. Start your day off right.”
