NEEDLES Modernizes Vintage Styles in Latest "Neo Tora" Editorial
’70s inspirations.
After dropping a trio of vibrant mohair cardigans, Nepenthes label NEEDLES is back, lensing the pieces with a slew of other FW19 pieces in a new editorial.
Set around a cherry brick backdrop, the imagery focuses on a series of vintage-style layers, with bold ’70s inspirations taking shape in the form of bell-bottom trousers, bolo ties, pointy footwear, sweaters, turtlenecks and small leather pouches. Featured items like the aforementioned cardigans are mixed together with pieces like a pair of velour boot-cut track pants, a peace-sign engraved ring and a pair of butterfly-etched leather heel slides. The Amarillo x NEEDLES Deer Braided Gassai Bag presents NEEDLES’ appreciation for hand-crafted goods, while other brightly colored garments, like the slew of purple sweaters, elevate the directional styling.
