Following on from their first collaborative drop, adidas Originals and OAMC have returned with another joint release, this type focusing on a new silhouette. Titled the Type O-2, the sneaker is constructed from the Stan Smith upper from 1972 and the Supercourt RX tooling, mixing influences ranging from grunge in the 1990s to the geography of the Pacific Northwest.
Similarly to the Type O-1, there are two different options for the upper’s material. The Type O-2L is constructed from leather, while the Type O-2R features a rubber upper. This drop sees five minimalist releases. The Type O-2L will arrive in “Black” or “Off-White,” while the Type O-2R is set to drop in both “Off-White” and “Medical Green.” Additionally, the collaboration will see an “All-Black” colorway of the Type O-2R in black rubber release exclusively via the OAMC web store.
The full capsule will release on October 8. Alongside the sneakers, OAMC and adidas Originals will also release a trio of complementing socks.
