One month down, 11 to go. February is here and as Super Bowl Sunday rapidly approaches, footwear brands are back with another exciting lineup of drops, featuring entries from the likes of Nike, New Balance, Jordan Brand and ASICS. Before we get started with the release of the Swoosh’s newest Air Max silhouette, let’s first recap last week’s top headlines from the sneaker space.

On the feature side of things we sat down with HAVEN co-founder Arthur Chmielewski to discuss his brand’s second project with ASICS — a GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 and an accompanying apparel range. We also recapped the 10 biggest footwear moments from Paris Fashion Week, touching on everything from wild runway looks to new collaborations highlighted at showrooms.

As for the usual slate of news, Nike had several silhouettes to introduce — A’ja Wilson’s Nike A’One, the Air Max Dn8 and the Pegasus Premium. It also revealed its limited edition “Black Label” collection for NBA All-Star Weekend, featuring two Swarovski-equipped colorways of the Ja 2 — including one that will cost $550 USD — a LeBron 22 and a Sabrina 2. Meanwhile, Jordan Brand continued to focus on the Air Jordan 1 as better looks at its upcoming “Black Toe Reimagined” and “UNC Reimagined” pairs surfaced alongside an official preview of the Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Bred.”

Elsewhere in the industry, adidas revealed its latest project with Bad Bunny, introducing the new Ballerina silhouette in off-white and black colorways. New Balance had its new 2000 sneaker hit the net too, highlighting its modern build. Lastly, Ye had new takes on his YZY SL-01 drop.

With all of the key headlines from the past week revisited, let’s now dive into what to expect from the week to come. After you make your way through all 10 drops, don’t forget to hit up HBX to shop styles that are available now.

Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink”

Release Date: February 6
Release Price: $190 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: A new chapter of Air is here. After introducing the world to Dynamic Air in 2024 with the Air Max Dn, Nike is back with a sequel — the Air Max Dn8. The sneaker expands upon the Air-shifting technology by placing it across the entirety of the sole unit, resulting in eight distinct chambers. Debuting in a “Hyper Pink” colorway that has been spotted on the feet of many Nike VIPs in recent weeks, a striking balance of pink and black is present across the new silhouette.

Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1500 “Growth Be The Tree”

Release Date: February 6
Release Price: $275 USD
Where to Buy: BeASpunge
Why You Should Cop: Salehe Bembury is back with yet another New Balance project, this time looking to the 1500 silhouette after he most recently presented the 530 “Prosperity Be the Prize” last October. This “Growth Be The Tree” colorway of the 1500 sees a brown suede joined by steel gray mesh underlays, yellow embroidered co-branding at the tongue and white at the midfoot’s “N” logos.

Jordan Zion 4 “Damascus Steel”

Release Date: February 6
Release Price: $140 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Another new model that is finally touching down on shelves this week is Zion Williamson’s Jordan Zion 4. Designed to support his strength and speed, the new model maintains the lower cut of its predecessor. Cushlon 3.0 foam and a full-length parabolic Air Zoom strobel are also present as this “Damascus Steel” look paves the way with its silver upper paired with a semi-translucent green outsole.

HAVEN x ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1

Release Date: February 7
Release Price: $170 USD
Where to Buy: HAVEN
Why You Should Cop: HAVEN and ASICS are back together seven years after their first collaboration. The duo are now celebrating last year’s introduction of the GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 by crafting their own version of the model that draws inspiration from the light and shadows of the urban environments of the Pacific Northwest. This comes to life with the shoe’s black and silver upper that features layered mesh and carbon fiber textures.

Nike Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day” Pack

Release Date: February 7
Release Price: $160 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Nike has prepared two more holiday-themed takes on the Air Max 1. Having already released a white colorway, pink and black versions of this festive pair are now set to drop. Key detailing includes metallic lace attachments that spell out “NIKE” and text on the laces that reads the famous break-up line “it’s not you, it’s me.”

Lack of Guidance x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII

Release Date: February 7
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: ASICS
Why You Should Cop: From Holland to Japan, Lack of Guidance has teamed up with ASICS for a striking take on the GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII. Its “Habanero” orange upper is delivered with black contrast throughout its build. The football-inspired brand’s fiery design is a nod to the Japanese national football team’s flame-covered goalkeeper jersey from 1998.

Nike Ja 2 “Heart Eyes”

Release Date: February 7
Release Price: $130 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Another pair to celebrate Valentine’s Day this week is Ja Morant’s Nike Ja 2. The sneaker’s new “Heart Eyes” colorway sees a salmon pink at the forefoot joined by a light pink at the rear. A neon pink is also included throughout the heel’s heart pattern, which notably shifts from normal hearts to broken ones as you go from the left shoe to the right one.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “Masterpiece”

Release Date: February 8
Release Price: $240 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro made its return to the market last year and Nike Basketball is keeping it in rotation as it returns classics like the “Masterpiece” colorway. The 2014 look is finally back eleven years later with all of its key features in tact. Textured black overlays are joined by multicolored detailing throughout the upper, resulting in a distinct finish for an already distinct silhouette.

Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined”

Release Date: February 8
Release Price: $210 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Jordan Brand’s latest chapter of its “Reimagined” series revisits the OG “Black Metallic” take on the Air Jordan 5. The special twists prepared for this version of the black, silver and white look sees it featuring new contrast piping at the upper, reflective Nike Air heel branding and white laces as a nod to Michael Jordan’s tendency to pair white laces with Air Jordan 5s on court.

Juliana Salazar x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14

Release Date: February 8
Release Price: $160 USD
Where to Buy: ASICS
Why You Should Cop: Juliana Salazar has been a gamechanger behind the scenes for many of the world’s biggest names in fashion. Her eye for design and creative vision has once again been tapped, this time by ASICS for a special take on the GEL-KAYANO 14. Championing a “Sound Mind, Sound Body” mantra, it features a mixed material upper that pairs light brown with a striking silver at the heel. Blue also enters the equation at the otherwise off-white sole unit.
