Update: adidas just introduced the latest chapter of its Bad Bunny partnership, dropping their collaborative Ballerina silhouette in “Bold Gold” to conclude March. Now, they’re ready for more action as the new model dons “Off White” and “Core Black” colorways that we initially previewed in January. As noted in our previous coverage below, both pairs come equipped with co-branding, including a “benito” callout just above the lateral Three Stripes in gold and silver respectively. Release is set to take place on April 12 via adidas and select retailers at a starting price of $120 USD.

Original Story: Bad Bunny spared no time in getting his year started. The Puerto Rican superstar dropped his sixth studio album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos (I Should Have Taken More Photos), on January 5 and went on to announce a residency in Puerto Rico before the album eventually climbed to the top of the Billboard 200.

Now, we have our first preview of what’s on the way from Benito and adidas this year with an early look at the duo’s two colorways of the Ballerina silhouette. Samples of the new model appeared last year, however, this is ultimately what the retail release will look like. The model arrives with a textile base accompanied by suede overlays and leather at the Three Stripes that cradle the midfoot. The lateral midfoot features “benito” text while the heel features the shoe’s size tag, a motif previously used on the duo’s Gazelle Indoor collaboration. “Off White” sees the titular shade joined by black at the Three Stripes, gold at the “benito” branding and gum at the outsole while the “Core Black” finish goes all-black with hits of off-white present at the Three Stripes and heel.

At the time of writing, neither Bad Bunny nor adidas have confirmed when their two colorways of the Ballerina are set to drop. Stay tuned for updates, including official campaign details, as it’s tentatively scheduled to release this April via adidas and select retailers at a starting price of $120 USD.
