Devin Booker Reveals Nike Book 1 "Jewel Swoosh NYC" PE
Inspired by the original 1997 colorway of the Air Force 1 “Jewel Swoosh.”
During the Phoenix Suns‘ one and only game at Madison Square Garden this season, Devin Booker paid tribute to the iconic arena with a special PE. Adding to his long list of PEs from this season, the Nike Book 1 “Jewel Swoosh NYC” took inspiration from the original 1997 colorway from the Air Force 1 “Jewel Swoosh.”
Taking design cues from the AF1, the shoe featured an all-leather navy blue upper while the outsole is detailed in orange along with the tongue branding and Jewel Swoosh. Originally, the Air Force 1 Jewel was a unique iteration for the ‘82 model. Additional “NYC” text is seen on the lateral forefoot, above the white midsole. The blue and orange is a nod to the Knicks arena and matches the same dark navy blue upper and white laces/midsole combination of the OG sneaker.
