Update: CASETiFY and Takashi Murakami’s highly anticipated collaboration, the TAKASHI MURAKAMI x CASETiFY: MR. DOB collection, is set to launch, seamlessly blending contemporary art with tech accessories.

At the heart of the collection is Murakami’s beloved Mr. DOB character, featured across a range of CASETiFY’s signature products. A standout piece is the Mr. DOB Collectible Headphone Case, which transforms AirPods Max into wearable art, offering a playful and artistic twist, reminiscent of the iconic Disney ears.

The collection also introduces several firsts, including the Bounce Carry-On suitcase, CASETiFY’s first-ever artist-designed luggage piece. Available in three colorways – Cobalt Blue, Cherry Red and Matte Black – this suitcase is fully customizable with personal initials. Other highlights include the Mr. DOB Snappy Trading Card Holder, the ultra-limited white camera ring, the Mr. DOB Collectible Earbuds Case and the Mr. DOB Phone Case Dangler, each embodying Murakami’s signature vibrant aesthetic.

Additionally, this collaboration marks the debut of the CASETiFY ICONS collection, a new premium tier that pairs the brand with legendary creators for exclusive drops.

Starting today, customers can join the waitlist for early access at CASETiFY’s website. The official global launch will take place on April 11, with limited availability through CASETiFY’s online store and select retail locations. Item are priced from $49 USD to $699 USD.

Original Story (March 19): Takashi Murakami and CASETiFY have officially announced their newest partnership with the unveiling of the “TAKASHI MURAKAMI x CASETiFY: MR. DOB” collection.

Set to release globally on April 11, the collaboration pays tribute to the legendary artist’s legacy and highlights his influence on both contemporary art and pop culture. MR. DOB, the character that has been synonymous with Murakami’s work, is at the center of the collection.

“When Takashi-san and I first met, we talked for hours about making art part of everyone’s daily digital life,” said Wes Ng, CEO and Co- founder of CASETiFY. “What followed was months of close collaboration, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible when you merge iconic art with everyday tech. This collection is the result of that shared vision.”

The TAKASHI MURAKAMI x CASETiFY: MR. DOB collection is set to release on April 11 via the CASETiFY webstore and brick-and-mortar stores, with a limited preview period on select items beginning April 3.
