Update: Images of the collection’s Air Jordan 6 and Air Zoom Pegasus 41 colorways have now been shared, completing the preview of the lineup of six. The Air Jordan 6 celebrates Jillian Beagley’s love for basketball with a mismatched colorway that hosts interchangeable patches of her favorite things at the collar. As for Tima Sviridenko’s Air Zoom Pegasus 41, it draws much of its inspiration from his love for cats. The yellow and red color scheme is accompanied by Tima’s cat Murka at the lateral Swoosh, as well as his favorite cat stuffie at the lace-hanging patch. Release for all six shoes is confirmed to take place on January 25 via Nike SNKRS with these two pairs priced at $200 USD and $130 USD respectively.

Original Story: It’s been a few months since Nike and the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Doernbecher Children’s Hospital revealed their 20th collaborative collection. The program, which pairs patients with Nike volunteers to design their own colorway of a sneaker, teamed up with six patient-designers to create the Doernbecher Freestyle XX collection.

This year, the Air Max Dn, Air Max Sunder, Sabrina 2 and Air 180 are all featured alongside the Air Jordan 6 and Air Zoom Pegasus 41, both of which are not pictured here just yet. First up, Connor Kassing Fernández’s Air Max Dn shines bright in black and gold as nods to his love for music and Spanish heritage are sprinkled in throughout the design. Quin Nims reworked the Air Max Sunder, bringing a dragon scale-inspired pattern to its special spiky mudguard shape. As for basketball aficionado Sophia Jenkins, her Sabrina 2 commemorates the many things that bring her comfort in life — from a graphic of her pickle stuffie to a special lining that nods to her fuzzy blanket that she’s always embraced. Lastly, Ja’Kai Taylor took on the Air 180, presenting a video game-inspired blue-green gradient across its upper, as well as reflective lightning graphics that reference the electronic continuous glucose monitoring device attached to his arm.

For those looking forward to the release of the entire Nike Doernbecher Freestyle XX Collection, it is currently expected to take place on January 25 exclusively via Nike SNKRS. Of the four pairs pictured here, prices begin at $130 USD for the Sabrina 2 and go up to $160 USD for the Air 180, $170 USD for the Air Max Dn and $185 USD for the Air Max Sunder.  For more info, be sure to revisit our feature on the collection from last October and stay tuned for updates, including the full reveal of the missing Air Jordan 6 and Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 colorways.
