Copenhagen’s Pas Normal Studios has been working closely with Diemme as the two continue to produce gear that embraces the outdoors. The duo’s third chapter of their ongoing partnership has been revealed to feature the Movida 92, a modern interpretation of Diemme’s Movida silhouette. As is the case with all Diemme products, this pair was handcrafted in Italy.
Designed with versatility in mind, the Movida 92 is said to be inspired by the rugged beauty of the mountains. The biking specialists at Pas Normal Studios opted to design for its off-bike adventures — including everything from a hike off the beaten path to your daily commute — as the slim shoe dons a “Desert Oasis” suede calf leather upper that features Diemme’s mountain logo at the forefoot. A rubber toe cap provides reinforcement and contrast in a bright “Reed Green” while the Vibram friction rubber outsole favors all-black as it rests beneath the chocolate brown midsole. Final touches are offered by the reflective co-branding located at both the tongue and heel, as well as the callouts to both brands at the sockliner. Each pair is made complete by a custom box that features special wrapping paper and a dust bag.
