Frieze Los Angeles 2025 to Proceed as Planned
As the city grapples with wildfire recovery, the fair remains steadfast in their commitments to LA’s vibrant arts community.

In the wake of the California wildfires, Frieze confirmed the 2025 edition of Frieze Los Angeles will proceed as scheduled on February 20 –23 at the Santa Monica Airport.
“After careful consideration and extensive conversations with galleries, partners, and city-wide stakeholders, we can confirm that the sixth edition of Frieze Los Angeles will go ahead,” the fair wrote in a recent statement.
“Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating fires in Los Angeles. Since the fair’s founding six years ago, Frieze has been proud to support and be part of this vibrant community. The challenges the city is currently facing only strengthen our commitment to work alongside the community to rebuild and recover together.”
A founding contributor to the LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund, a $12 million and growing initiative that provides emergency aid to arts and culture works affected by the fires, the fair has also partnered with local hotels to accommodate attendees, aiming to further the city’s recovery through cross-sector collaboration.
Concurrent art fairs will also proceed as planned and are also encouraging donations to fire-related funds. Felix Art Fair organizers are inviting VIPs to donate to the art-world-focused mutual aid effort Grief and Hope, and newcomer Post-Fair (formerly known as Santa Monica Post Office) is encouraging donations to the California Fire Foundation and the World Central Kitchen.
