At this year’s LVMH Watch Week, Hublot has prepared four new models spanning bold reimaginings from the Spirit of Big Bang and Big Bang series. Throughout the lineup, the Maison continues to embrace a daring vision as well as technical and aesthetic innovations, while also presenting a special timepiece to celebrate the Year of the Snake.

Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph

The Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph is revealed in three new limited-edition versions featuring colored ceramic builds in Sky Blue, Dark Green and Sand Beige. Housed in the series’ signature barrel-shaped cases, measuring 42mm in diameter and spotlighting an openworked dial. In addition to matching rubber straps, dial markings also mirror each respective colorway in a tonal hue, evoking a clean and fresh monochromatic effect.

Visible through the open dial and caseback, the new timepieces are powered by the in-house HUB4700’s automatic skeleton chronograph caliber, geared with approximately 50 hours of continuous running power. The Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph ceramic watches are priced at $27,400 USD, each limited to 200 units.

Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM

For the 2024 edition of LVMH Watch Week, Hublot revealed a Big Bang Unico wristwatch featuring a SAXEM build in an eye-catching emerald green. The eccentric combination of color and material is now back for an encore in the freshly unveiled Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM.

This limited-edition timepiece perfectly demonstrates its innovative approach to experimenting with transparent materials. The reference’s beating heart, the MHUB6035 automatic tourbillon movement, is developed entirely in-house. It includes a 22-carat gold micro-rotor positioned on the dial side, plus a smooth and efficient winding process alongside a 72-hour power reserve.

The openworked dial, highlighted by functional sapphire elements and a darker tint, creates a captivating contrast against the vivid SAXEM case. The watch comes with two lined rubber straps in black and transparent green rubber strap for versatile styling.

A limited release of 18 pieces, the Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green SAXEM boasts a price tag of $231,000 USD.

Big Bang MECA-10 42mm

Nearly a decade since Hublot first debuted the Big Bang MECA-10, the Maison continues to stay true to its legacy of innovation today, introducing three new iterations in a much more compact 42mm case size.

Instead of a conventional dial, the timepiece proudly showcases its technical capabilities with a design that positions the balance wheel on the display — offering constant animation to the watch face.

Powered by the HUB4700 Manufacture movement, the new model comes with an impressive 10-day power reserve, provided by two mainspring barrels. What sets this watch apart is the incorporation of a crémaillère rack system to display the remaining days of autonomy digitally — a rare way to present the power reserve indicator for mechanical timepieces. Prices range from $23,000 – $42,700 USD, the new Big Bang Meca-10 is available in King Gold, Titanium and Frosted Carbon builds.

Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake

Unveiled earlier this month, the Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake is a special limited edition celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year. For this release, Hublot reimagines the Spirit of the Big Bang in a stealthly build.

Drawing inspiration from this year’s zodiac animal, the 42mm black ceramic case houses an openworked dial adorned with a stunning gold-plated serpent appliqué, whose body elegantly swirls around the three subcounters. This design is beautifully framed by a ceramic bezel with tonal engravings emulating snake scales, a motif that extends onto the matte black rubber strap. Read more about Hublot’s Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake timepiece here.
