SOUTH2 WEST8 has unveiled its FW25 collection with a campaign set in the rocky banks of an alpine stream, nodding to the Japanese label’s “Tenkara” fishing roots. The lineup envisions a humble, yet utilitarian look, combining traditional winter motifs and natural materials with functional design details and insulating fabrics.

The collection is led by a strong range of outerwear including mid-length parkas with corduroy details, utility puffer vests in bold hues, and sturdy shell jackets boasting plush fur hoods. Bold prints make their way to the final layers including a 90s-era technicolor print featured on a fishing vest and a hooded jacket, and a red version of SOUTH2 WEST8’ signature stag and target motif featured on ski jacket and vest.

Standing out among the bottoms is a special variant of herringbone pants reprising the brand’s stag skull in a continuous pattern, along with jeans and trousers with repeating embroidery depicting small deer in various positions. Elsewhere tactical pants in various colors and fabrics feature details like double-knee panels and central patch-pockets above the knees.

In knitwear, familiar intarsia wool sweaters continue from previous seasons in new colors, and the brand introduces a snowflake jacquard sweater in red and green. Paired with a brown mesh cardigan, orange trousers, and a knitted winter hat, another sweater features rectangular instarsia patterns comprising white, orange, brown, and yellow yarns.

The collection is rounded out with numerous accessories to complete hike-ready looks including vintage latch backpacks, space-dyed fingerless gloves, trapper hats, logo bucket hats, and ribbed beanies.

See the full collection in the gallery above and stay tuned for the release of SOUTH2 WEST8’s collection, set to arrive ahead of the FW25 season via Nepenthes and other stockists.
