It’s been nearly half a year since Jordan Brand introduced the world to the Air Jordan 39. While it was unlikely to see much of a push with the Air Jordan 40 likely receiving special care for its 2025 debut, the model has been particularly quite. However, this was revealed to be by design as Nike made a point of focusing solely on performance rather than presentation.
Recent entries include two black and white pairs that appeared at the end of 2024 and now the Swoosh is back with previews of more lowkey compositions. First, a “Noir” version of the shoe sees a black upper paired with a milky white semi-translucent sole unit that stretches over a portion of the upper. Its “Sail” counterpart features the same sole, however, it instead reaches atop a white upper that hosts bits of black contrast and blue Jumpman branding at the tongue.
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not discussed when either the “Noir” or “Sail” colorways of the Air Jordan 39 will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates as we expect both pairs to arrive on shelves within the next few months via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $200 USD each.
