Santo Studio Debuts New Ryan Sheckler Edition Of Its Clemente Sneaker
The luxury model, designed by creative powerhouse Bear Degidio, features a premium white leather upper and a classic gum sole.
Santo Studio, the California-based creative house and clothing label founded by Bear Degidio, has announced a new Ryan Sheckler edition of its luxury Clemente sneaker. Combining high-end materials with skate-influenced styling that draws from Sheckler’s long skateboarding history, the sneaker is a fusion of worlds that’s perfectly in line with Santo Studio’s “farm-to-table” ethos, one centered around community, collaboration and purpose.
Sheckler’s take on Santo’s “new classic” sneaker features a premium white leather upper contrasting with a black heel tab and cream laces. A tilted, tonal Santo Studio logo, rimmed by a single line of stitching, is present on the lateral quarter panel, while the shoe’s inner half is lined with the same premium leather as the outer half. A finishing touch is supplied by a classic gum midsole — a staple of skateboarding and streetwear footwear — featuring a debossed Santo Studio logo on its lateral side.
“Santo Studio is all about real, timeless pieces that elevate your style and performance in one go,” says Degidio, pictured below with Nyjah Huston, who will be serving as a co-creative director for the brand’s luggage alongside other icons like Paul Rodriguez (co-creative director of eyewear), Jeremy “Twitch” Steinberg (co-creative director of denim), and Sheckler himself (co-creative director of sneakers). “Our mantra is that you can’t always be perfect, but you can always be authentic.”
