KA YO_Prototype’s Debut Collection Is an Ode to Its Roots

Stockholm-based premium retailer KA YO has launched its very own in-house label, KA YO_Prototype.
Adopting a fuss-free and direct naming convention, the label’s inaugural collection, aptly titled “KA YO_Prototype_001,” draws inspiration from the Dark Nordic forests, resilient Nordic climate, as well as the Solaris grape known for its hardy nature, allowing it to thrive even amid Scandinavia’s harsh weathers.
The collection features an extensive lineup of apparel and accessories made from practical and resilient fabric blends. The designs are carefully crafted with all kinds of outdoor conditions in mind, further highlighting KA YO’s commitment to uncompromising performance, durability as well avant-garde aesthetics.
The rugged beauty and resilient durability of Nordic landscapes are reflected via the range’s earthy color palette, as well as individual garments’ technical builds. Reflective prints are incorporated throughout to keep wearers safe in dark conditions.
