Although the Air Pegasus 89 G has shined on the golf links throughout 2023, Nike still hasn’t forgotten the Air Max 1 G. A variety of colorways were produced in 2023 to highlight a new and improved silhouette with a larger and more authentic bubble unit, and now Nike is preparing to release a fresh iteration of the kicks to coincide with the fall season.

Team Red, a burgundy used most recently on AJ1 in March, is introduced to the Air Max 1 Golf as the color for the shoe’s full-length mudguards and accents on the toe and eyelets. It’s a more appropriate colorway for October and November compared to the vibrant “Sport Red”, the AM1’s signature iteration. Complementing the white toe boxes and midsoles, because shoes tend to get dirty later in the season, gray suede serves as the anchor for the quarter panels and backtabs. The insoles, meanwhile, follow the gray and red theme and all the expected branding moments are present on the tongue tabs, heels and insoles.

Swipe through the gallery above to get a closer look and check back in later for an exact release date. Either way, expect a price point of $160 USD.
