Nike and its sub brand Jordan stayed busy throughout 2022 reimagining many of their greatest footwear hits as fairway ready silhouettes, and neither show any indication of slowing down as we head into 2023. Take Nike Golf‘s latest reveal as proof, as the brand has provided an early glimpse of the Air Max 1 Golf in the shoe’s most recognizable colorway: Sport Red.

The arrangement of the golf version remains true to the original Tinker Hatfield colorway, as the bright red swoosh and mudguards pop against a backdrop of grey overlays and white mesh accents. The sport specific branding comes by way of the red insoles where white Nike Golf logos sit in contrast. As for the outsole, the AM1 G remains without spikes, but nevertheless shows a few features that are distinct from its lifestyle counterpart, as the forefoot portion is arranged in groups of four small pistons for better traction.

Release information has yet to surface, but expect these to land on Nike Golf within the first few months of 2023 at the usual $130 USD price point.

In other footwear news, adidas takes inspiration from outerspace for its new COS Supernova.
