All eyes are on Paris as this year’s Olympic Games continue to take place in the French capital. Elsewhere in the world, the cycle of sneaker releases continues to spin as Jordan Brand, Goods & Services, Nike, MSCHF, adidas, Reebok and New Balance are all set to drop notable designs this week. However, before we dive into what 10 sneakers you should have on your radar this time, let’s take a look back at all of the key headlines since our last edition of best footwear drops.

Looking first at features, we kicked off the week by sitting down with Nigel Sylvester to chat about his Air Jordan 4 RM collaboration that is dedicated to his grandmother — discussing his childhood, sneakers and, of course, biking, while also officially unveiling the project’s second colorway. Later on, we celebrated the opening ceremony of the Olympics by revisiting the best Olympic-themed sneakers of all time.

As for the traditional news, Nike served up two major headlines. First, it presented Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Giannis Freak 6, which is set to launch in August. From there, it revealed the 55-shoe “Electric Pack” for the Olympic Games. Early looks at this year’s Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” and the Nike LeBron 22 were also served up.
