HOKA has unveiled two limited-edition Mafate silhouettes for the Japanese market.
Arriving in light gray and black makeover, the Mafate THREE2 is a spin-off silhouette combining traits from two of HOKA’s classic trail models: the Mafate SPEED 2 and Mafate 3. It’s fitted with a gusseted tongue and a quick lace system for speedy fastening. The vivid yellow EVA midsole adds a brightening finish to the near-monochrome shoe, while its grounded Vibram® Megagrip outsole provides a grip for navigating bumpy roads and terrains.
Built for technical terrains, the Mafate SPEED 2 ensures support and comfort the underfoot with its Active Foot frame, 5mm Vibram Mega-Grip outsoles and a MetaRocker shape for high energy return. The shoe is doused in a bright orange from upper, tongue to midsole, accentuated with yellow patterns and black highlights that ensure it stands out whether in the great outdoors or on urban roads.
The two sneaker models will be released through HOKA on August 2, but are currently available through a raffle on atmos Tokyo’s website until August 1.
