Nike Unveils the 10 Most Popular SNKRS Releases of 2024
Jordan Brand enjoyed yet another dominant year, bolstered by its collaborations with Travis Scott.
As the year comes to a close, Nike has published its list of the most popular SNKRS drops of 2024. The brand previously posted lists for 2022 and 2023, with Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 Low OG collaborations claiming the top spot in both years. This time around, Scott has not only taken first place, but claimed four out of the top five positions.
Hot off of the release of the Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder “Sunrise,” we have a complete rundown of what sneakers drove the most traffic to SNKRS this year. Per usual, Travis Scott’s AJ1 Low OGs drew in the masses, taking first, second and fifth. His Jordan CJ1 T-Rexx “Sail” landed in fourth, just behind the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined.” The AJ4 also found itself in sixth with its “Industrial Blue” colorway. The only two non-Jordan Brand drops in the top 10 came in seventh and eighth place with the Kobe 6 Protro “Italian Camo” and Futura x Nike SB Dunk Low respectively. From there, Trophy Room’s AJ1 Low OG “Rookie Card – Away” and J Balvin’s Air Jordan 3 “Rio” rounded out the top release list.
Key takeaways from the data includes both Scott and the AJ1 present across 40% of the entries. The AJ4 was the only non-collab pair from Jordan Brand to make the list, appearing in two colorways. Low-tops performed best with six featured in the lineup and Nike only found itself holding 20% of the spots, down from 50% the past two years.
