Whether it be its own mainline collections or something more interactive, Japanese menswear label, BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS is no stranger to collaborations – often linking up with creatives like artists, art directors and more. Now the brand has teamed up with the Los Angeles-based artist and designer, Cali DeWitt.

For its latest, the new collection looks to the West Coast in the 1940s, which served as a backdrop for a range of suspense films, thrillers and detective novels. As such, this personality washes over the collection through tees, hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts and accessories. Even though the pieces’ bases come in shades of black, white and gray, what makes the collection pop is the arsenal of embedded graphic designs.

Revolvers, crime-like sketches, mob web drawings, a map of Los Angeles, the phrase “stick up don’t move smile” and more appear on the pieces in hues of white, black and red.

Take a peak at the new collection in the gallery above. The new BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS x Cali DeWitt collection is available now online and with select retailers.

Elsewhere in fashion, Marni will host its first-ever fashion show in Paris this September.
