Ariana Grande Shares “Baby I” Live Performance 10 Years After ‘Yours Truly’

The singer previously revisited “Honeymoon Avenue” and “Daydreamin.’”

On Wednesday, August 30, Ariana Grande will celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut album, Yours Truly, Released via Republic Records, the LP was created over a three-year period and when it finally dropped, planted the roots for Grande to become one of the most well-known contemporary pop stars today.

Pulling from pop and R&B influences such as Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston, the project would go on to be certified platinum. It also introduced fans to many of their favorite Grande cuts, including the jazzy, upbeat “Baby I.”

Ahead of Yours Truly’s upcoming anniversary, Grande has shared a live rendition of “Baby I.” Recorded in London, the singer is joined by an intimate orchestra consisting of a drummer, pianist and a strings section.

“When I try to explain it, I be sounding insane / The words don’t ever come out right,” she sings. “I get all tongue-tied / I can’t explain what.”

Prior to this video, Grande also rolled out live renditions of a few other cuts from the album, “Honeymoon Avenue” and “Daydreamin.’” In the coming days, she’ll continue the celebration with videos for “Right There,” along with fan favorite, “The Way.”
