Stem Player Debuts Exclusive Beats From the Late J Dilla
Available for download and directly on the hockey puck-shaped device.
Stem Player, the company made famous for its exclusive debut of Kanye West’s Donda album, will be premiering some never before heard beats from the late J Dilla.
The company has already dropped two different packs of beats from the legendary producer and rapper. This new release will mark its third volume rolling out via Stem Player.
Stem Player announced the news, giving thanks to fellow Detroit-born producer Amp Fiddler, who taught Dilla how to use a sampler and retrieved the beats from the original MPC.
The release is not without controversy, however, as Dilla reportedly didn’t want anyone to have his unreleased music. Mike Dean commented on the post, inquiring, “are these samples cleared by the sample owners?”
Volume three of Stem Player’s J Dilla beats are available on the device and can also be downloaded.
