A24's Second 'Problemista' Trailer Humorously Documents the Troublesome American Dream

Following an initial look, A24 has revealed the second trailer for its forthcoming comedy film, Problemista. Written and directed by frontman Julio Torres, he stars alongside Tilda Swinton and Wu Tang Clan‘s RZA, tracking his move to New York City to pursue toy design.
The trailer sees Torres unite with Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton in search of an immigration sponsorship as his life rapidly declines against all odds. He searches for jobs at no avail, speaking to people on the street and attempting freelance opportunities with no monetary gain in sight. The light-hearted film sees Torres’ family digitally support him along the way, reflecting the immigrant Latin American experience in the US.
Problemista is a career-defining moment for Torres, who wrote, directed, and produced the film alongside Dave McCary, Ali Herting, and Emma Stone. The extended cast also includes Isabella Rossellini, Larry Owens, Catalina Saavedra, and Greta Lee.
