There are still a handful of months left to go before Art Basel 2023, but we might be getting a sneak peek into what we can expect Jordan Brand to launch during the event this coming December alongside longtime partner SoleFly. The South Beach-based retailer traditionally unites with the Jumpman family for a footwear release, and the first image of potential SoleFly x Air Jordan 8 “Diamond Turf” colorway has surfaced on our radar. This would serve as the follow-up to its Air Jordan 13 team-up that launched last year and was inspired by Michael Jordan’s yacht.

A lateral angle of the kicks reveals many of its subtle-yet-striking details. A majority of the real estate is dominated by a faded black hue that shrouds the base layer’s nubuck panels, tongues, textured collars and shoe laces while gilded accents pop up across the lace tips, strap clasps and dangling SoleFly-branded hangtags. Splashes of red also get ushered into the liners, “23” hits on the throat and Bulls-friendly molds that rest above the midsoles.

More images and official release information are expected to be revealed in the coming months, so enjoy an early look here while you wait on their arrival.

For other news, more images of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 in “Black” have appeared.
