In its second year on the market, the Nike Air Max Scorpion continues to stand out with not only its uniquely-shaped build, but its various colorways as well. Already, the brand has assembled special renditions ranging from a pair covered in embroidery to a gorpcore-themed finish with protective gaiters. Now, it joins the Zoom Vomero 5 in bearing the “Have A Nike Day” theme.

Aside from its thematic smiley-shaped Swoosh, the special detailing comes courtesy of the external lacing system that wraps around the entirety of the shoe’s upper. First, a green cord lace starts at the heel, where it’s tied, and goes through the midsole’s gap and across the toe. A light neon green lace similarly tightens at the heel with it looping back and forth above the black knit upper and white oversized Swooshes. In addition to all of this, a multicolored pair of laces rests above the tongue with a metallic silver underbelly to the upper and a semi-translucent blue sole supporting the sneaker.

At the time of writing, the Swoosh has not disclosed any release details surrounding the “Have A Nike Day” rendition of the Air Max Scorpion. Stay tuned for updates as we expect it to release alongside other colorways from the collection in the coming weeks at a price of $250 USD via Nike and select retailers.
