adidas Taps Son Heung-Min to Create South Korea-Inspired X Crazyfast Boot
Coated in a “Lucid Lemon/Bright Royal/Lucid Pink” colorway.
adidas and Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-Min have connected to present a brand-new iteration of adidas’ classic X Crazyfast football boot, and it takes inspiration from the lights and life of the big cities in South Korea.
Son Heung-Min has been a regular fixture in the Premier League’s top attacking talents since he joined Spurs in 2015 and now adidas is paying homage to the baller’s talents, both at club and international level. The winger is expected to have another prolific season in a Tottenham kit next season under his new manager, Ange Postecogleu, and he will be kicking off the new campaign in the X Crazyfast boot in a striking “Lucid Lemon/Bright Royal/Lucid Pink” colorway.
The boot has been designed with a pink base, while speckles of yellow can be spotted rising from the bottom. A darker splash of purple can then be seen on the collar and customary adidas branding, as well as on the Korean symbols on the lateral sides. Meanwhile, a semi-translucent Aeropacity Speedskin upper has been included to keep the boot light and breathable.

Additionally, the boot has also been crafted with a series of recycled materials, with the upper being made from at least 50% recycled materials. Rounding off the design, the Speedframe outsole includes a flexible Aeroplate inlay for propulsive speed.
