LL Cool J is hitting the road for his first headlining tour in 30 years. The rapper left hip-hop fans disappointed when he rescheduled “The F.O.R.C.E. Live” tour last month, citing his priority to “make sure everything is done right,” in order to “give [his] fans an experience that is unforgettable.” But now the rapper is ready to bring “The F.O.R.C.E” to 18 major U.S. cities – with a major supporting lineup including The Roots, DJ Z-Trip, and DJ Jazzy Jeff, and a slew of special guests including Common, Salt-n-Pepa, Juvenile, Rick Ross, Ice-T and more.

“The F.O.R.C.E” – which stands for “Frequencies of Real Creative Energy” – will kick off in Baltimore on August 11. While the initial tour dates saw the first show at Boston’s TD Garden, the rerouted tour will now close out at the legendary Boston venue on November 19. The rapper will make stops in cities including Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles as well.

Alongside his three supporting acts, Uncle L is slated to bring an array of other legendary hip-hop artists to select shows, including the aforementioned Common, Salt-n-Pepa, Juvenile, Rick Ross, Ice-T, the lineup also lists De La Soul, Jadakiss, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Method Man and Redman as some of the special guests.

Prior to the start of the tour, the rapper, alongside many of his slated special guests, will commemorate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop at the Rock The Bells festival at Queens’ Forest Hills Stadium on August 5.

Tickets for “The F.O.R.C.E. Live” are available now on the Rock The Bells website, as well as Ticketmaster and Stubhub.

Elsewhere in music, Run-DMC is set to commemorate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop with a headlining Yankee Stadium performance.
