After dropping his first single in five years “Eastside” last month, Jay Rock is back again – this time with the support of Anderson .Paak and Latto – for the high-energy cut, “Too Fast (Pull Over)”.

Mustard whipped up the captivating beat for the nearly four-minute track, which is equipped with three full-length verses. .Paak eases listeners into the song with his smooth, signature vocals on the pre-chorus and contagiously catchy chorus: “Pull ovеr, that a*s too fast (Too fast) / Hit the ATM and grab more cash (More cash) / Yеs, lord, feelin’ like a new man (Yes, lawd) / I was dreamin’ in the life, then I woke up in the…”

Jay Rock picks up right where .Paak left off without missing a beat (“Six-trey, black top with the candy paint / In your b*tch face, eat the cake, Anna Mae”) for the first verse. Latto – who “woke up sittin’ behind five percent tint” – shows out on the track’s second verse, which ends with a Barbie shout. “This a h*ll of a cat, no scat (Skrrt) / I look like a Barbie, act just like a Brat.”

.Paak switches from crooning the chorus to spitting bars for the third and final verse. He walks over the beat effortlessly (while also in the music video literally walking over the pool water) – reminding us that the Silk Sonic singer has still got bars.

The fast-paced music video sees the trio at a pool party, poppin’ bottles and dancing with models. Check it out above.

“Too Fast (Pull Over)” is available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.
