Lil Yachty’s first Nike apparel collaboration lands today, October 16, with a reworked take on the iconic Tech Fleece. Dubbed the “best-dressed rappers on the scene” by the brand, the lineup pushes proportions to the extreme in Yachty-style elevated basics, oversized silhouettes, and techy details.
The collection features a Tech Fleece zip-up hoodie and 3/4-length shorts, both in black and navy colorways. Both pieces use an oversized fit, double-layer heavyweight construction, and the signature Nike Tech chevron lines. The zip-up adds a structured balaclava hood, adjustable bungee cords, and thumbholes. The fleece shorts fall below the knee and feature cargo pockets, adjustable snaps, and bungee cords, all reimagined with updated neck-tag branding, snap pockets, and custom label graphics with Yachty’s touch.
With the tagline “Not everybody fits in,” the campaign stars NBA player Bol Bol alongside Yachty, with teasers directed by the rapper and Cam Hicks. In one, Yachty towers over a crowd at a DMV in his blacked-out Tech Fleece. When asked to straighten up for his photo, he knocks his head through the ceiling, and drywall dust lands on his shoulders. In the campaign’s other teaser, Bol Bol squeezes into a crammed elevator and tries to get someone to press the button for his floor, but everyone is too distracted by his 7’3” stature.
