Denim Tears Launches New Apparel and Headwear Capsule With Tropical Futures
The duo has readied a shirt, tees and trucker hats centered around the theme “Late Capitalism.”
Tremaine Emory never strays too far from the collaborative realm as he’s been spotted working with the likes of Dior on apparel, accessories and footwear as well as Our Legacy for a clothing capsule via his imprint Denim Tears. And now, ahead of the summer season, he’s just linked up with Tropical Futures to introduce a new apparel and headwear assemblage that’s designed to salute Emory’s personal style and storytelling as opposed to the Late Capitalism advents of hyper-consumerism and fast fashion.
The headlining piece of this drop is the button-up short-sleeve shirt. It’s graphic-heavy and comes designed with cotton field imagery to depict Harlem, Georgia — the Southern city where Emory’s family is from. Two white tees with “Late Capitalism” branding printed across the chest are also ushered in, one of which features playful emoji graphics on the back. Rounding out the collection is a duo of trucker hats that come in black and orange colorways, both of which feature oversized “Late Capitalism” on the front and “Denim Tears” hits on the back.
Parties interested in copping can find the collection available now via Denim Tears for $60-230 USD.
